1. What is the Steinweg Online Onboarding Form?
It is a secure online form used to register suppliers, transporters, office partners, or operational partners with C. Steinweg warehouses. The form replaces paper-based or email submissions, ensuring consistency and compliance.
2. Who can initiate the onboarding process?
Forwarders within Steinweg initiate the process by sending an online invitation to the supplier, transporter, officer partner or operational partner.
3. What does the invited partner need to do?
The invited partner must complete the onboarding form online, provide accurate details, and upload the required supporting documents in English.
4. Why is this online process important?
• Provides a uniform way of onboarding across all Steinweg entities
• Ensures documents are digitally submitted, stored and retrieved securely
• Increases efficiency for forwarders, compliance teams, and partners by speeding up the onboarding process
5. What documents are required?
The exact documents may vary depending on supplier type (supplier, transporter, office partner, or operational partner). Typical requirements include company registration, compliance certificates, financial documents, and signed contracts. The system will guide which documents to upload.
6. Can the form be saved and completed later?
Yes. The form saves progress automatically, and partners can return to complete it at a later time before submission.
7. What if the original invitation email is lost?
If the original invitation email cannot be located, please contact support@steinwegonline.com. Support can forward the original email with the secure access link.
8. Can the submitted information be amended after submission?
Yes. The invited partner can resubmit information using the original invitation link. Upon resubmission, the submission version will be updated accordingly.
9. Can the invitee be changed to someone else in the organization after the invitation is sent?
At present, forwarders must issue a new invitation if the invitee needs to be changed.
10. How is security ensured?
Each partner receives a unique access link. Data and uploaded documents are encrypted and handled in line with Steinweg’s compliance policies. If there are concerns, Steinweg can reissue a new secure access link.
11. Who reviews the submitted onboarding form?
The submitted information is reviewed by the relevant Steinweg entity and its compliance team. Forwarders are kept informed of the review status.
12. What happens after submission?
After review and approval, the partner will be officially registered with C. Steinweg warehouses and may begin engaging in business activities. If additional information is needed, the partner will be contacted directly.
