Welcome to the Steinweg Online Digisec guide. This article will help you download, install, and use the Steinweg Online Mobile App to scan your warehouse warrant.
1. Download & Installation
Scan the QR code on the right with your mobile phone to download the app from Apple App Store or Google Play Store or search the store for "Steinweg Online Mobile" |
2. Scanning Warehouse Warrant
- Open Your Steinweg Online App: Launch the Steinweg Online Digisec app on your mobile device.
- Scan the Warehouse Warrant: Follow the app instructions to scan the NFC tag on your warehouse warrant.
- Review Your Warrant: After a successful scan, the details of your warehouse warrant will be displayed on your screen. Please note that no PDF version is available for download or email. All scanned data will be shown only within the mobile app. While you cannot send the data via email, you can take a screenshot for your records if needed.
3. Tips for Scanning
- Correct scanning position: Position your Mobile NFC reader -over- the NFC chip in the paper. (Circled red in the image below)
You will achieve the best performance when you know where the antenna of your mobile is located; this is generally on the back.

- Use a smooth wooden surface: Your mobile phone sends out a small magnetic field to power the NFC; followed by a radio signal. A metal or foil surface could reflect the or absorb the "energy" and could also disrupt the radio signal.
- Stay Connected: Make sure your device is connected to a stable WIFI network or has a reliable mobile network connection for efficient scanning and data processing.
- Keep the Device Steady: Hold your device steady during the scanning process to avoid interruptions and ensure a successful scan of the NFC tag. The tag will need to both transmit and receive signals, which is different from tags that only share a website.
4. Troubleshooting
- Warehouse Warrant not scanning?
- Check the position of your NFC reader for your phone model.
- Check the chip position
- Check the surface under the document (try while holding the document)
- The chip might have taken damage rendering it defect
- No NFC detected?
- Look for the NFC symbol on your phone. If unsure, check your phone's specifications online.
- Incorrect Redirect?
- Double-check that you are scanning the Warehouse Warrant chip.
- App or Scanning issues?
- Restart your device and try scanning again.
- Verify that the Steinweg Online app or has the necessary permissions (NFC & Camera) enabled in your phone's settings. Make sure you are connected to WIFI or a Mobile Network.
